1972

Where it all began

A father, a few cars and a lot of heart. Pastor started his first rental business in Calpe with the philosophy that still defines us: treat every customer like family.

1985

Growing with you

Customers asked for vans. And if a customer needs it, we adapt. That's how we expanded the business and started making moves easier across the Costa Blanca.

1993

Fresh blood

Jose Jaime finishes his studies and doesn't think twice: he joins his father's business. That same year, together with another local rental company, Zafiro Cars is born. Years of learning, working side by side and many kilometres.

1998

Neptuno Hires is born

With everything learned and the same spirit as always, Jose Jaime takes the leap and creates Neptuno Hires. New name, new location on one of Calpe's main streets, same philosophy: closeness, hard work and passion.

2012

We move to La Pinta

More vehicles, more customers, more trust. We needed to grow, and Calle La Pinta 3 became our new home.

2020

The digital leap

Pandemic, but also opportunity. We went 100% digital: online bookings, web payments, real-time availability. What didn't change: the personal attention you've always known.

2014

Gonzalo arrives

Gonzalo joins the team as Jose Jaime's friend and right-hand man. From day one, like one of the family.

2023

The family grows

Josep and Pau, Jose Jaime's sons, join the team. To give them a future, Jose Jaime invests in more vehicles and expands the fleet. A family bet on growth.

2026

Today

130 cars, 25 motorbikes, 6 vans. A 4.9 on Google. And the same philosophy it all started with over 50 years ago: when you rent with us, you feel like family.

Jose Jaime

Founder

Founder of Neptuno Hires and soul of the business. He's had rental in his blood since he accompanied his father as a child. Today he runs Neptuno with the same excitement as day one.

Gonzalo

Right-hand man

Jose Jaime's friend and right-hand man. He joined in 2014 and has been part of the family ever since. He knows every car in the fleet by name.

The team's energy. Since 2023 he brings fresh ideas and customer service that stands out.
